Friday Things 3/24

+This has been an absolutely insane week. I feel like I over-scheduled on purpose for some reason? The other day when I told Scott that I was taking Sutton to the doctor for her shots and then later that same day, I had to take Wells to the dentist, he looked at me with true sympathy. Usually I don't get sympathy from him because he works 14-16 hour days.
Like, for once, he was like okay, you win

+I watched The Inside Man this week. It was really good. Like Stanley Tucci a lot. It's only four 1-hour episodes so it watches more like a really long movie. It's the best thing I found on TV in ages. Next up, I'm going to try Shrinking.

+So I got these from Madewell several weeks ago. I've had my eye on them for a year or so but I saw that they were 40% off, maybe for Presidents' Day? I got an 8, they were a little small, so I exchanged for an 8.5 and they're just right.

This Is How I Styled Them <<< did I do that right?
Anyway, I wore them around the house for a few hours since it was warm yesterday and they're super comfortable too.

+I have never preferred using Spotify. Maybe I just don't know how to use it? So I do use Pandora like some sort of boomer (or do boomers also use Spotify now?)
Remember the meme from awhile back where it said that millenials made a playlist in 2013 and that's it: There's no more new music. I am that millenial. I make exceptions for select songs from 2014-2018 but that is seriously it. There is nothing new under the sun. The good stuff has already been created.

Notice: "Shawn Mendes Radio" and I will always listen to Hunter Hayes if given the choice.

+Speaking of being a millenial...stop with the weird jeans. By the sheer grace of God there are skinny jeans and they are flattering on everyone, no matter the body type. Do not move backwards. We've been through too much.

I got these 1822 jeans from Stitchfix for like $45. They are better than any others I've tried in the last 2 years. I think they have Tencel in them, which is what makes the difference. They hold their shape, are comfortable AND flattering.

+Speaking of moving backwards...I like the Olive and June polish I got and I like the Ella + Mila polish I tried too. Nothing will compare to the $2 LA Colors Gel Polish. It's smooth and shiny and dries quickly. This is "sweet baby".

And an empty: the All Bright toner from Beauty Counter. I really, really like it and will definitely be repurchasing in the future. It's incredibly effective at smoothing and brightening. I would put it on before bed a few nights a week.

EXACTLY like this. Shirt and all.

I've been woken up in the morning by Scott banging on a keyboard 3 rooms away.

It's "Tractor" where I LOLd.

The older I get, the less likely I am to eat anything that's not prepackaged.

In case you missed it:
