Sunday notes.

Note #1

1. What is one movie you are terrified to watch?
I hate The Hills Have Eyes.  Hate it.  And Paranormal Activity 2 kept me frightened for a month.

2. What is one TV show you have always wanted to get into but haven't yet?
I tried Six Feet Under last summer and I just couldn't get into it.  I felt like Alan Ball (True Blood) + Michael C. Hall (Dexter) would clinch it for me, but that wasn't the case.
I don't know that's there's any new show I am specifically chasing down right now.
I'm still on a Weeds high. (Get it? "High"? LOL.)

3. What is one daring activity on your bucket list?
Go on another Carnival cruise.  Sounds daring and dangerous to me.
(I'm betting 50% of the bloggers answering this question will say "sky dive".)

4. Would you ever travel alone?
I feel like I kind of have, going from Alaska to PA and back again a few times by myself.
I don't know that I'd want to see new places alone though.  Isn't part of the joy sharing it with others??
5. What activities do you like to do alone?
I actually like to cook and bake alone.  I like moving at my own pace, taking breaks or cleaning up whenever I feel like it.  When someone is watching or expecting food rightaway, I feel pressured.

Note #2.
Also, our house is for sale.

If you click on through to the website and look at the stats and pictures, you might be inclined to agree with me when I say they're charging a bit much for composite countertops, stick-on tile floors, and appliances from 2002.  But what do I know?  I'm only the one who has lived here for 2 years :)

You should note that the fire in the fire place is completely photoshopped.  I do not turn on the fireplace on sunny, 35 degree days and it does not look nearly that impressive..

And now, the funny part.
The address is wrong.
We live in Palmer.

Where we live and where they say we live is 7 miles apart.  Good luck with the whole selling-the-house-thing, folks.

and..funny stuffs.

In case you're curious, this is how army wives speak.  Sure, it was foreign to me at first, but I caught on pretty quickly.  (My personal favorite is the curtain one.)  Thanks for the laugh, Bridget!  (Or should I say, "The cold shot of recognition at what I've become" ? :)

My reaction after an episode of The Walking Dead:

  1. You and I are soo much alike haha. The Hills Have Eyes scared the crap out of me lol.

So they really messed up all that stuff up on the listing for your house?! Are they stupid?? lol.

  2. So ridiculous that they messed up THAT much stuff on your house listing. At least you know you should never ever use that realtor yourself. ;)

I agree that Paranormal Activity 2 was pretty freaky...but I love movies like that. 3 and 4 were plain stupid though. The only horror movie that's ever REALLY freaked me out was Silent Hill.

  3. Thanks for te shout out! (And the recognition of what I've also become;)) I like to cook and bake alone too!

  4. That's funny about the house address!

  5. I love a real estate agent with attention to detail. It definitely makes me trust her enough to buy a house from her. Enter: sarcasm font.

Your so-relatable photo is exactly how I feel any time someone asks me...ME! if I've seen a certain episode of FRIENDS. I'm like "are you kidding me right now?"

  6. I know what ou mean about baking for sure...especially the cleaning part. I live with 4 people but I'm the only one who doesn't order takeout/make ramen on a regular basis so I feel like I have my own kitchen.

And I cannot believe that about your house...if I was a buyer (not even knowing the fireplace thing, just the address lie) I might walk away wondering what else they "accidentally" forgot haha

  7. Totally just went and read your story about Carnival and let me just say oh my god. That's one of my fears of traveling on a cruise or out of the country. Guess I'll find out in July when we go to the Riviera Maya (but not on a cruise)

  8. Seriously? Another cruise? Girl, I read that story to my husband and he said "that settles it - never!" Lol. And, at least if they can't find your house for sale...they can't bug you to look at it!

  10. Visiting from the Social! Paranormal Activity is so scary! They terrified me. I really don't know why I continue to watch them.

And I think most people said "sky dive" too. I'm not very daring so it didn't even make my list.

  11. Haha. Weeds high.

What's the deal with this realtor??

I definitely answered "skydiving" on my blog.
