Beauty Product Gifts. (for you or someone else!)

This is a post I've been meaning to write for a year now. I wanted to share some of the products I've gifted to *myself* over the years and that I would love, are tried and true, and I am sure others would love as well. I feel the need to say I'm in no way affiliated with Beauty Counter LOL. They are just my go-to for when I need a product and it's never a question if the ingredients are safe. In fact, I found myself ramping up Beauty Counter use when I was pregnant two years ago because it was one less thing I had to think about. I am, truly, just very lazy when it comes to research. I can't be bothered. I want a sure thing.

First up: This is the holy grail of beauty products, always. I bought my first Naked palette for half off in December 2016 at Ulta in Colorado Springs. I've been using the same one ever since. I've added in smaller Naked palettes over the years but this is my number one go-to.

Also, I got this Hourglass blush a few years ago. I got the mini size and it's still only like 1/3 of the way used up. I was shocked at how great it is. I didn't know blush could be this way.

Bamboo exfoliating polish. This will make your skin feel incredibly clean and smooth. I just put a small amount with whatever cleanser I was using in the shower ("was" because I ran out a few months ago and haven't pulled the trigger on more yet :( ).

Lipid defense cleansing oil. File this under things I never thought I'd want/need/use. I got a travel size last year in a kit, and I'm still eeking a bit out of that small bottle. The smell alone will make you want to use it! It makes your skin feel like you're taking care of it. That's the best way I can describe it. Use it with a gua sha stone or jade roller, rub it on before taking off your make-up, use it in the shower in place of a cleanser...the possibilities are kind of endless.

Vitamin C Serum.  Probably my favorite Beauty Counter product but also the most expensive. I might buy it once a year. I found that using the VC oil (below) with moisturizer gives a similar effect! But really, I've tried cheaper vitamin C serums and ended up hating them so it may be worth it to you.

Vitamin C oil. Put one, exactly one, drop of this with your moisturizer at night and you won't regret it. It makes you feel like your skin is actually glowing. I have a travel size from a kit I bought last year and it's still only half gone. Totally worth the investment if you want something that will last.

I also discovered that I really like Olive and June nail polish (the formula is so smooth) but I don't like that you have to buy a kit and/or pay shipping and spend $$$ on nail polish. Like why can't we just buy them in a store? You can find a few of them at Walmart but never the colors I'm interested in.

What beauty products would you buy for yourself or someone else this year?
