Birthday Things.

 

I told the kids it was my birthday and I would bring them cupcakes. I never expect gifts because it's just not a thing they do or I want them to do. But I do have a few really thoughtful ones this year. 

One of 36 boxes that will be my new floor. I am purposely going to be using this mirror/room to take pictures so I can document the transformation. 

The gifts I bought myself. 

We took Wells to a sports bar on a Monday night. Not his first sports bar. 

30 weeks. 

And I pulled out this bag that I bought for my birthday two years ago.

My parents sent me the diaper bag I wanted as a birthday gift, so I figure I better use what I want now because I'll be using a diaper bag for awhile again. This time, I picked out a diaper bag that can do all of the things I want it to do, so hopefully I'll like it. The quality seems great and it's the style I had in mind. 

(full disclosure: I think the Fawn bags and the Freshly Picked bags are ugly)

So that's all from a week ago, which lets you know how behind I really am right now. One more day off today and then back to it for another week.
