Riverdale. This is Gossip Girl-ish in a way. I first heard about it on the Appointment Television podcast, and had no interest in it. However, needs must and I started watching when I finished The Keepers. I watched all 13 episodes this past weekend. #goals I'll be watching season 2.
This article from teacher to students is entertaining. #6 and #7 especially. I find it FASCINATING that parents can't sign paperwork or send supplies but they can supply Junior with at least two fidget spinners.
This article about the silent tragedy facing our kids. I'm pretty sure I spent half of my childhood "bored" and I wouldn't be half as resilient as I am today were that not the case.
These flats from Target. I bought the black ones back in April and wear them a lot. At least 2-3 times a week. I decided to get just the brown ones too while I was browsing the other day. Money well-spent. $17 isn't much when considering cost per use. I don't know why the website is only showing the wide width but I got the cognac ones this week.

ReplyDeleteI started The Keepers but then I fell asleep. My husband was really into it, though, so I will likely pick it back up! I think it's so weird that just sitting in a car and staring out the window is foreign to kids today. And I'm glad you found some good flats! I may have to grab some, too. Thanks for linking up!
ReplyDeleteRiverdale was so fun-- about midway through I got kind of iffy about it, but the last two episodes were so good and really set you up waiting for season 2! We started The Keepers but only got one episode in, but will definitely finish watching it again at some point.

I really loved Riverdale and cant wait for more episodes!!! Target has been killing it lately on shoes and clothes.
ReplyDeleteAs a new parent, that "silent tragedy" article is really applicable. I struggle with trying to figure out how to balance interacting with her & also giving her the chance to figure stuff out herself- granted, she's only a year old, haha. But I am loving summer because if she gets fussy around dinner time, I literally just walk outside and sit her in the grass to explore. It's good for both of us to get some fresh air!
