What I Wore Thursday (S&T 12/15)

Shirt: Abercrombie (last year) // Skirt: Old Navy (2012) // Boots: Madden Girl (last year)

Well, believe it or not, I had an actual Stuff and Things post scheduled (in my mind) and wanted to really give out a few recommendations, a few weekly happenings, share the ball gown I'm wearing for the battalion ball next month...all that good stuff (and things). But then this week happened and I'm just behind. Behind on reading anything and everything, behind on emails, behind on paperwork, behind on exercise, behind on T.V. ...and it goes on and on.

We've also been in this week-long battle with Home Depot over a dishwasher, so maybe I'll have that story ready to share soon. ...it's 11:06 pm on a Wednesday and we're just now wrapping up dishwasher installation.

But, this outfit is worth sharing. This skirt is the best 99 cents I've ever spent. 5 years ago,;didn't even have a tag on it. I paid less than a dollar and I've worn it at least 30 times.
I really like plaid and I really like glitter, so I kept wishing this skirt had some glitter to it when I wore it the other day.
I'm thinking I need a glittery skirt to go with some of my plaid shirts. That's okay, right?

Hopefully I'll have some actual favorites from the week to share tomorrow!

  1. I'm a supporter of mixing glitter and plaid. And, I can't wait to see you all fancy schmancy in a ball gown!

  3. I love when something I paid virtually nothing for is used so much.

  4. Oooh I'd love to hear the dishwasher story. I got one for you - the guy came last night to start ripping out the bad carpet...pulled up some of the baseboards and voila, there's mold :/ Had to go get bleach and scrub the you know what out of it as it looks like its contained and then we noticed that the baseboards don't match which indeed told us that they lied again and they did know this situation. Ugh!

  6. Appliance/home debaucles are the WORST. Do not even get me started on our current situation with Alaska Hearth in Juneau and our missing wood stove.

I love the outfit! I'm not a glitter person but if glitter + plaid would make your day better, then I say go for it.
