Last year, I went on this whole tirade about how I'm exhausted just thinking about the Christmas card competition that seems to happen each year. Like, WHY? Why do we insist on spending hundreds of dollars on Christmas cards that I (to be honest) just throw away come January. I don't even know if I've kept all of our own cards over the last few years.
However, I did feel like sending out a picture this year just to prove that we went into 2016 with deployment on the horizon, and then we came out the other side.
I took a picture from the deployment homecoming in mid-November, put it on some plaid via Shutterfly, ordered 25 of them, and called it a day. It actually arrived on my doorstep early which was nice. Shutterfly was having a fantastic sale on Thanksgiving weekend, so that worked out in my favor too.
(No one sponsored this post, so I don't a fancy byline or subtitle happening here.)
Where do you get your Christmas cards? What kind did you go with this year?
