When I reflect back on the different places we've lived, the different places I've worked, and the different things I've done, this graphic up there ^^ really hit the nail on the head.
Evolution is necessary to success.
So I've spent a lot of time trying to figure out the best way to evolve into who I'm *supposed* to be next.
But.... I have a 4-day week ahead of me. I'll drink (my coffee) to that.
I'm in the midst of a transitional (who am I supposed to be next?) time period too. Closing our shop at the end of the year and continuing to analyze what is coming next... exciting and scary, but I'll focus on exciting times for today.
ReplyDeleteCheers to a four day week! And to figuring out who you're supposed to be next.
ReplyDeleteCheers to your 4 day week, we have a 2 day work week then off so I'll definitely cheers to that too!
ReplyDeleteSo so true. And I'm a little tired of this me. Something is in the pipeline that is beyond my control but all of my appendages are crossed for a new opportunity.
ReplyDeleteYay for a short week and long weekend!
Hooray for short weeks!
ReplyDeleteI really love this quote, it's so true!
ReplyDeleteThat is a great quote. It is amazing how much you evolve as your grow. Thanks for the motivation!

I love this, I often talk about all the different 'hats' I wear as working for a non-profit. Sometimes it's the carpenter hat when we're building new shelves, sometimes it's the crisis management hat, you never really know what the day will bring!
ReplyDeleteWell, I'm in the midst of a midlife crisis, so I complete can relate. Right now, I'm struggling to rise to challenge in my life as well as find the bold gal I used to be.
ReplyDeleteahh 4 day week, awesome! cheers to that. love that quote, very true. things are always changing and it's important to change with them, i think.
