Merry Christmas!

This is my best effort at the bokeh technique.
I spent over an hour working on it.
You should probably hire me because here's some highly professional shots:

What do I need to adjust here?  Advice?

And my personal favorite…

  4. Merry Christmas!! That card arrived and is now hanging on our annual Christmas twine in our kitchen. :)

Bokeh...I keep meaning to try that. It doesn't really work with cell phones, I did discover...haha.

  9. I know these tips are for Christmas lights at night, but there might be some things in here worth trying. I cannot remember if you have an SLR, but if you do, you should be able to control just about all of the settings mentioned. If you do not have an SLR, you still might be able to adjust a few of these settings, like shutter speed and aperture as long as you don't have just a point and shoot. You cannot control a lot with those.
