1. I taught a Turbokick class on Tuesday. I made $12.
Cheat-sheets
No one gets into fitness instruction for the money anyway. Oh well. I got experience and a free workout.
2. I found myself purse shopping. Tsk, tsk. We'll let this one be a surprise for next week...
They're so nice. They even say thank you after they take my money...
And then I got this and thought, "Crap, did I order more than one?"
Here's the commercial, in case you haven't had a laugh today.
4. What do you think of True Blood this season? It's kind of failed to impress me. But by this point, I am so stupidly addicted to the cast that I can't stop caring. But I don't like the way they keep introducing "nobody" characters. Like that vampire who decided to call Jason hers. Who is she? And why do we care? The last new character of any significance was Norah. And we all know what happened there...
For example, this is my current gripe:
"Jason is now some vampire lady's bitch. This will probably be important later, but not now. For now it is just IMPORTANT FILLER, for future plot twists. Also, Terry died and those fairy girls died too — so by True Blood law, new characters must be introduced ASAP. The cast list must not dip below 2,788."

I love the Sarah/Steve relationship. It's hilarious. I don't like that Sarah's become a murderer. That's a little overkill (pun intended).
Plus a puppy photo-bomb.
I am with you with the new characters, it is too much. I feel like a lot of the plots have been super quick, especially the Terry situation and now Sam's girl is preggo? Like what is that? And Alcide has been an a-hole all summer, but then turns the corner out of nowhere. But like you, I am holding on to find out what happens anyways!
ReplyDeleteI'd be a nervous wreck having anyone try to follow me teaching a fitness class. Glad you stepped up to the challenge. And purse shopping.... oh how I'm wanting a new purse. We have a Nordstrom Rack and they have fabulous purses at a really good price. Maybe when I'm ready to get a new one (even though I want one badly now) I'll head over and see what they have to offer. Can't wait to see what your new purse looks like. Welcome to the smart phone world Scott — it will change your life! I've never watched True Blood... we have HBO, just never wanted an episode. And I'll be honest... I saw the pup before I saw the jeans. Ha! What a cutie.
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking up today. Happy Friday, and have a great weekend!
That commercial is funny! And yay jeans!
ReplyDeleteWe need to talk about our project next month...
I fall into your hubby's category with smart phones. I never had one until I met my computer loving hubby and he always got the latest and greatest in phone upgrades. I also use to not have data on my phone or text msg. Now that I've had unlimited both for awhile now I cannot imagine not having either!
ReplyDeleteWhoo hoo new purses!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd I seriously love your sandals!
If there's no snow, jeans are lame! I am anti-True Blood so I can't comment there. I'm actually lecving Team iPhone for the S4 as soon as I can. Hopefully by the end of this month.
ReplyDeleteScott sounds like Kyle when he finally got an iphone in 2011. He was like a little kid.
ReplyDeleteGlad to see that Scott has finally caught up with the world of technology. :)
ReplyDeleteOMG that commercial is hilarious. I want to wear jeans. Still a few months for that!
ReplyDeletethat is sweet you're teaching classes! and you'd work out anyway so nice to get paid even if it's a little bit :)
ReplyDeleteI'm kind of "meh" on this season as well. I wish it would follow the books a little more. As usual, the books are generally better. Although you are right, I do like Steve's character. Cracks me up!
ReplyDeleteI'm still swearing that I'll never have a smartphone. We'll see how long they keep making the old fashioned kind. And hey, making $12 while working out ain't so bad! (that is, if you like to work out. I would consider that torture. )
