2 degrees

Pants: JCP // Shirt: from the Base Exchange // Boots:  Steve Madden

It looks like snow, but it's not.  It's frost.  So much frost.
My house hasn't received actual snow.
But it is so cold that the frost just kinda piles up for days on end.
All around very pleasant, as you can see by the frightened look on my face.
I could've used a picture I took weeks ago for WIWW, but I really liked my outfit yesterday, so I braved the cold.
You are so welcome.

So, any Walking Dead fans out there?  I'm really hoping Rick swoops in and saves the day at this point.  I say Rick because I think Daryl will be conflicted between the group and his brother.  Hesitation equals devastation, and I fear Daryl might hesitate when it comes to Merle ("I fear"...clearly, I'm quite invested here.) And Andrea?  Is there a bigger idiot out there?  I think not.  This chat on Slate.com summed up the episode nicely, I thought.  *Spoiler alert*, though.

  2. My boyfriend and I are obsessed with Walking Dead!! I'm with you about Daryl being torn between his brother and Rick but I think that Daryl has come a long way since the beginning and I think that he is going to see that Merle hasn't changed at all and is going to end up killing him. I think Andrea is also being stupid but I think she just doesn't want to die. I really really dislike the governor! He creeps me out more than the zombies!!

    Love your blog!!

  8. I am seriously, seriously pissed off that AMC decided to air the first episode of TWD on their website, and then NOT air any more. Because I got to see the first episode, and now I have to wait like a year to see the rest of them. And that means I can't talk about it with anyone, because I have no idea what's going on. Governor? Who? Daryl's brother is back? What? At least I know Andrea is still being stupid, apparently.

    Grrrrrrrr.

  9. I love those boots. I love Daryl too. Rick got a little crazy there for awhile for me... but I guess it makes sense. And I never liked Andrea!

  11. You know I never understood this whole Walking Dead thing. Mostly because I think zombies are the dumbest invention ever. But I watched two episodes with my parents while I was home for thanksgiving and I must say, not bad, not bad at all. I was actually kind of into it until the zombies can snarling through this gate thing with their open mouthes a s disgusting growling noises.

  12. Found you over from Natalie's post ;)
Love the outfit and yes, sometimes I'll pretend I'm not from the south and attempt to wear less clothing than I should in 50degree weather...which that equals to boots, scarves, winter jackets...yeah...that's miami winter for ya!

  13. You always wear really cute stuff! I completely agree with you about Daryl. My husband thinks Daryl will have no problem because he is invested in the group now. He believes Daryl may have a quick moment and then realize Merle is still Merle. Andrea is naive. I used to call her Negative Nancy until she became kind of likable. Now, I call her Naive Nancy. The governor gets worse and worse each episode. I can't wait for the next episode.

  15. That is a crazy amount of frost! I admire your dedication to taking outdoor pictures. I can barely do it now when it's 30 degrees out without complaining! You're a trooper!
