Amazon lately...

Question: The local facebook groups out there where moms are looking to buy things like "3-6 month cream-colored onesie, don't want to order online"...why? They always say they'll pay you for it but they don't want to order online? I'm genuinely curious. Is this just a military community thing?

Anyway, clearly my go-to is ordering online. I would rather wait 3 days for something (planning ahead, you know) than drive all over town looking in stores or putting out feelers and having to go to a stranger's house to potentially pick something up.

In other news, I 1000% got "warned" by a FB group for trying to sell something because you're not allowed to sell things in that mom group but I've also definitely sold things in that group before and they must've approved those posts without even reading them this past summer. This time, I got spammed with all the group rules that definitely weren't there before. I only belong to one group here, so I know it's the same one.

Bedsheets. The quality of these sheets is impressive. I think I paid $80 for our last set 3-4 years ago and these are actually better.

Where's the Duck? These felt flap books are too cute. I will probably end up getting another one. We have the hen one somewhere from when Wells was baby and it really bothers me that I can't find it. Anyway, this kicked off my Christmas shopping earlier in September.

Glass food storage containers. I've moved onto glass storage. Something about storing in plastic just doesn't sit right with me anymore. Plus, mismatched Tupperware was pushing me over the edge. This makes me feel much more organized.

Pumpkin costume. I'm not trying to reinvent the wheel with Halloween costumes! We're not big Halloween people, but little kids in costumes is always cute (unpopular opinion: Halloween should be a children's holiday). I grabbed a cheaper version of a baby pumpkin costume and I am absolutely impressed with the quality of this one. I ordered the 6-12 month size and it's plenty roomy on this almost-7-month old.

Protein powder. This one has a great flavor. I did my research and it has no artificial ingredients.

Lemon essential oil. Because I've been feeling slightly into fall cleaning mode lately, I made a Clean Mama Sink Scrub. This is for that mixture. And then this brush is for the scrubbing.

  3. What get's me is when I see items in a resale shop for a price that you could buy a brand new one for! I feel like asking if they have been to Walmart lately. Thanks so much for linking up with Prime Purchases! Tanya - The Other Side of the Road
