Weekending + some photos

It works much better for me to share any weekend activities on a Tuesday.

To start, Wells and Sutton got some pictures taken last week and this photographer had them back to me in less than 24 hours :)

While I was not going to have *my* picture taken (Scott couldn't be there) and I had just hiked half a mile through the woods carrying a baby and all our stuff, an image or two of me comforting a hangry baby snuck in.

(seriously, hiked half a mile through the woods, guys)

I had tossed around the idea of taking the dogs but I'm really glad I didn't because it was super muddy and flooded after all the rain this month.

I am very proud of my ingenuity when it comes to Wells' school valentine box. I had this paper leftover from his birthday and I gave him a bunch of heart stickers.

Sutton did her first hike on Sunday. She has probably been in the Ergo ten times in her life. She never hated it, but it wasn't fitting to our lifestyle the way it had been when Wells was a teeny baby so we didn't use it. This is Scott's first experience with the Ergo.

Wells walked over 3 miles through the woods.

And Scott rearranged some TVs, finally mounting one in the living room and one in the kitchen area.
We rented two different houses from 2019-2021 and there was no way he was sticking something permanent on a wall. Now that we know what we want these rooms to look like (more indoor renovations coming soon...), we could do this.

Suggestions for new floor lamps? Where do you get them? I think this one was from Walmart back in 2019?

Scott also took the time to show me how a flat screen tv could be flush against the wall or it could be pulled out. The irony of this demonstration was completely and totally wasted on him because he doesn't watch The Office.

Phone Photos.

This is just a random collection of the types of pictures I usually share on Stories. My content there ranges from non-overshared memes (i try to be original, thankyouverymuch) to baby stuff (and the preschooler when he obliges) to the political and to the faith-filled (speaking truth is important). Also, dogs.

These are unedited and out of order. (such is life so ENJOY)

My favorite pjs for babies and toddlers are the Burts Bees ones. The quality and variety for the price is the best I've found.

Loves the mirror

Went to the hospital to order medical records. Masks required (:

The positions we twist into to get a baby to look at the camera...

 Shark's mouth

We renewed our aquarium/museum memberships. It's the one easy indoor activity we can do all year round.

She was more interested in whatever than she was in the real penguin.

Jellyfish

Boba. Which is basically a milkshake.

Baby's first Vietnamese

My baby restaurant hack is back: You put everything they need in a ziploc bag. When they're finished being all messy, you put it all back in the bag and then deal with it at home.

Trying new headbands. Still not sure.

Me too.

Pre-dinner charcuterie

More mirror time

New game. Batteries not included obviously.

Lunch. No one ate the muffins I mentioned making last week, don't worry. Wells refused and she fed hers to the dog. Scott liked them.

Any time I hear a baby yelling, it's because Wells has done this to her.

Oh, that's better.

Grocery store maybe?

First smoothie.

Wells' lunch...Smoothie is pineapple, almond milk, banana, hemp hearts.

I couldn't get dinner on the table fast enough last night (and don't worry, no one ate it :) :), so Wells and Sutton had a banana and Cheerios feast at 4:30pm.
Probably why they didn't eat.

Phone Photos 2

Hams.

A few weeks ago, my THUNDERSTORM AIR PURIFIER broke. I emailed Edenpure, sent it back, and they sent me a new one. Scott thinks I'm insane, but I notice such a difference with this. It just makes the air smell clean.

Reading.

I like that Thursday Night Football is on Prime this year.

He's been carrying these two dogs everywhere. One was mine, one was given to me by a student the year Wells was born.

Wells' jacket and Wells' blanket. Her own bow.

Her own blanket, her own toy, her own jacket. Still Wells' stroller though.

We had gorgeous sitting outside weather last week. Not this week.

SAME.
