1. Begin Health Prebiotic for toddlers/kids.
I posted this on Instagram over the weekend and people immediately wanted to know more (I'm not just saying that. I got some DMs :). I'm not one to blast health issues all over the internet so I haven't said anything about it thus far but if it helps one kid out there, I probably need to tell you all about it.
The point is, if you're looking for an alternative or supplement to a pediatrician's advice (to take Miralax), this is for you. I will happily send more info via email or DM if you'd like! I posed a reel from Just the Inserts saying that Miralax isn't approved by the FDA for anyone under age 17, yet pediatricians "prescribe" it every day instead of thinking about a root cause. I felt completely dismissed by our pediatrician when I asked about this months ago so I found an alternative.
2. We've been watching Untamed on Netflix. I can't speak to the whole series but it's interesting and we're 4 episodes into it. We also watched Happy Gilmore 2 (well, Scott watched it and I watched most of it). It was shockingly good for a sequel 30 years later. Original cast and legitimately funnier than I expected. I'm not a huge Adam Sandler fan and I don't know that I saw the original movie more than a couple of times. But I was laughing.
3. I know this fruit fly trap is $20 and that was off-putting to me at first, but fruit flies drive me nuts and, fun fact, by the time you see them, it's too late. I bought this because I saw it on a blog and, let me be clear, I haven't even seen a fruit fly in this house...this trap is full of fruit flies. Cannot recommend enough. Doubles as a nightlight.
