The last 2 weeks in pictures (mostly)

The last two weeks have been a whirlwind and the next two weeks will be the same.
Come the middle of June, I may be able to relax.

I packed up all my stuff and moved it to a new building.

One of my favorite students gave me flowers and a Starbucks card. I'll miss that kid.

Mistakes teachers make: doing all the work yourself.  My class organized all my stuff and it went REALLY well.  I don't have time to color-coordinate trimmer as I'm ripping it off the wall or pull out staples.  I was impressed with their willingness to help.

I've been drinking lots of Panera and DD iced coffees/teas.

I bought them elk antlers.  They LOVE those things.

Carrot-Ginger Juice and breakfast burrito at Over Easy

The condition of my driveway two weeks ago.  I'm being tested, I swear.

Japanese pan noodles at Noodles and Co.  I need to go there more often.

We forgot to update our power of attorney before this deployment.  Go figure that this is the time I actually need it for something.  Express mail from Europe.

A Cajun Shrimp pedicure because #treatyoself

My anniversary present from Scott.  I swear I didn't even ask for it.

This is the weirdest shirt I've ever seen.  I don't understand the connection at all.

And this is just funny.  It's Colorado Springs, after all.

  1. The flowers are beautiful. I'm with you on the buckets of iced coffee. I'm totally jealous of your VitaMix. Love the photos of Garden of the Gods and Pikes Peak. My husband and I went to Colorado a few years ago and visited both. I can't wait to go back.

    Happy Sunday!!

  2. I am afraid to even ask why you needed power of attorney.

Buckets of iced coffee here too, though I believe you seem to need it more.

Cajun shrimp is one of my favorites!

Amazing photos from Garden of the Gods and Pikes Peak.

  6. The Garden of the Gods pictures are amazing!

Love that you enlist your class to help you pack up the room. My daughter's teachers do that and the kids love helping. Well, my kid does anyway.

  7. Cajun Shrimp looks so different on you than it does on me - must just have to do with skin tones or something! It's a really bright orangey-pink on me.
