Anyway, in the current location, it's been hot. It's been humid. Last week, it was kinda stifling outdoors and it's not even June yet. I love it.
Especially now that our air conditioning is working correctly. Such a conundrum, right?
For the last 3 summers, I would insist on wearing shorts outside because that's what you do in the summer. I'd freeze the entire time, come home, put on my sweatpants, and then curl up in front of the fireplace with sock and slippers on.
Now that I think about it, I might never put pants on again. In the words of Taylor Swift, "like, ever".
Shorts: Old Navy (last week) // Shirt: Gap // Tank and Sandals: Target |
*Excuse the sunburn. I've got my SPF in my purse now that I'm in a land where the sun is warm.*

ReplyDeleteYippie for warm weather and sunburns!
ReplyDeleteI can't imagine all the cold. I just can't imagine it!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy that sunshine!
ReplyDeleteMonterey is clearly not as cold as Alaska, but like you, I am so looking forward to being hot again. I can't wait!
ReplyDeleteI'm so happy you're enjoying your new home and the warm weather! You'd better stock up on the sunscreen!
ReplyDeleteYay for warm weather!!! :) I know I never want to leave Texas because of the blazing heat. Love it.
ReplyDeleteI am so glad that you are happy! I completely understand the feeling of not realizing how unhappy you were until you are happy again! I am so happy for you. And yay for warm weather! And yay for never returning to the place that shall not be named!
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing what the warm sunshine can do for your mood and outlook! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you're feeling good!
Look at you so happy in the sunshine :)
ReplyDeleteI have been watching Alaska: The Last Frontier about this homesteading family in Alaska (I looked it up, its Jewel's family) I keep imagining you and Angi living like them.
Literally, my first thought here was "Sun? GET IT, GIRL!"
ReplyDeleteI'm all about the warm weather. I would have died in the old place. After seeing a few moose and caribou and bears the fun would have been over for me.
ReplyDeleteYOU'RE IN THE SUN! I understand how delightful this must be for you as it is currently "rainy season" here on Oki. I asked a local friend of mine how anyone could ever tell the difference between regular weather and the rainy season and she laughed and said, "you'll know." She was correct. It's been so long since I've seen the sun that when the clouds are primarily white instead of grey, I have to wear my sunglasses. How do you like Missouri? You're in tornado alley just in time for tornado season, unfortunately. :/
ReplyDeleteSo glad you are enjoying the sunshine!
ReplyDeletesunshine looks good on you! :)
