What is your favorite store to shop at?
I LOVE outlet shopping. In fact, plop me down at a Gap Outlet, next door to a Banana Republic Outlet (with a Loft Outlet across the street), and I'll see you in 12 hours.

If you could afford anything and everything, which designer brand would you covet?
I tend to go with middle-of-the-road designers. For example, I love the 3 brands mentioned above. I like Lucky Brand, D&B, and Fossil. I'm not into Louis or Tory Burch or insanely expensive stuff. I'd rather have a lot of mid-range clothing/accessories than one or two super expensive pieces. I do love me some Tiffany though. (Noted here and here.)
Must have closet staple?
I like to have a good purse at all times. I get one I really love maybe every 18 months.
Favorite kind of shoes?
American Eagle flip flops. I love them. I've bought several pairs over the last 7 years (I wouldn't wear flip-flops prior to age 19. I never promised that I was normal...) . They last forever and are super comfortable. I have leather ones, suede ones, rubber ones. Doesn't matter.
Plus, if I can wear flip flops, that means it's warm out. Warm=happy.
I'm also partial to a great pair of wedges. I have a few.
Best clothing deal you've ever gotten?
Anything from above-mentioned outlets always feels like a steal, like my $25 plaid Banana Republic dress. Once, I got a pair of dress pants at a regular Gap for $6. That felt good.
Style you'd love to try?
I don't think there's a particular style, per say. I think that I want more opportunities to wear the nice clothes that I already have. The bar for fashion in Alaska is kinda low, so I usually don't even get all spiffy for work. In the winter, I'm too cold to care and in the summer I'm usually just grateful when it's warm enough for shorts and flip-flops. (I'm counting down the dayssss people...counting the days...)
Now, for Sunday Funnies! Linking up to Kara at All in a Row(e).
And the grand finale...
Oooh, I love outlets. I must go to ours soon. :)
ReplyDeleteI blame my lack of care for fashion on growing up in Alaska. There are no outlet malls which kills me and the stores to pick from are dismal. There are some great outlet malls in the part of Washington I live in that always makes shopping for cute clothes less painful.
