The Walking Dead

Let's start with a shameless plug..
My story is on Espresso and Cream's No Fat Talk Tuesday today!  It's a great series that will inspire you to be more positive about your body image.

Mad Men AND The Walking Dead.

I don't know what's in the water over at AMC, but they know how to do things right.

I mean, sure, there is a lot of speculation out there (via Pinterest) that the show is just ridiculous.  But come on!  It's a zombie apocalypse.  Let's let them be as ridiculous as they want.  (Our society has people who live vicariously through Harry Potter and now we're questioning the rationale of zombie t.v.?  If anything, it's more real than the compilation of "stuff" we call reality t.v.)

If you're unfamiliar with the show, as I was until about a month and a half ago, it takes place in Georgia in the aftermath of a zombie apocalypse.  The zombies are brought on by a super-bug kinda virus that takes over your brain.  The story follows a group of people as they move from place to place through the south.  There's in-fighting, affairs, disagreements, deaths, and twists and turns galore.

I think the best shows are the ones that really make you care about the characters.  This show does that...for me anyway.

Spoilers ahead.  Tread carefully.

Love Shane.
Ooo, a twist

Rick isn't badass like Shane, but he's okay in my book.

I'd take the broom.

And my personal favorite...

He's gonna be huge in Season 3.  I can sense it.

These all came from Pinterest.  Just search "The Walking Dead".  I did not pin them all to my page.  Didn't want to look...obsessed...you know, like when one of the people you're following decides that they like the color "blue", so all this blue crap suddenly pops up on your page...

  1. This is one of my favorite shows on TV. It's so good but not nearly as good as the graphic novels...almost though.

I dont know what it is about Daryl but I sort of have a little hick crush going on with him. Also, I may or may not have let out a giant "Eek!" when they showed Michonne at the end of season 2. I cant wait to see what they come up with next season.

  2. Dylan loves this show. I can't watch it because it gives me nightmares. I can't handle anything zombie!

  3. I love both shows! The one place where AMC failed for me is The Killing. I can't believe it got renewed past one season.
