It's OK and I'm thankful that...4/5

Linking up with Amber and Neely!  The week is almost over...that's why I love "It's OK" Thursday.

Its Ok Thursdays

It's OK...

...to feel that the best thing about Sundays is Mad Men (Is anyone else wondering if Don is going to cheat on Megan??)

...that I'm starting to think about how I would survive a zombie apocalypse, as I've now finished season 2 of The Walking Dead.  Added to my list of the best shows ever?? Check!

This, I swear, just jumped into my cart at Target.  Along with the bags of jelly beans.
....that I spent some time making Bunny Munch on Sunday.  And now I have a new favorite snack:  Bugles dipped in candy melts.  Don't knock it 'til you try it.

...that one of my students told me I looked "very chic" on Monday.  This was in the middle of math class.  She raised her hand.  I called on her.  That's what she had to say.  I'll take it.

....that as much as I love my Keurig, I'm excited to start making iced coffee again.

...that the new blogger format is throwing me off my blogging game this week.  Maybe I'll catch up this weekend.  I haven't been linking up to much of anything.

Also, linking up with Ryan for Thankful Thursday (her blog is adorable, so I'm pretty sure you should check it out)..
I'm thankful that...

...it's April.  That's one more month down.

....I have great people out there who actually read my blog.  Your encouraging comments mean so much to me :)

....Operation Kristin-highlight-her-own-hair was a success.  I, naturally, have dark blond hair.  However, if I don't toss some lighter blond highlights into the mix a few times a year, it starts to look "mousy brown".  (More about this later.)

Happy state-testing-week-is-almost-over Thursday!

  1. I'm not sure about this new Blogger format :/ cute blog!!

  2. Haha, I'd take the "chic" comment as well! Also we are babysitting our niece and nephew this weekend and may need to try that bunny munch, thanks!

  3. Haha the comment from your student is pretty sweet! I've never heard of bunny munch! Yay for another month down! I think I'm going to have to start drinking coffee to get through this deployment. I hate coffee :)

  4. The Walking Dead is AMAZING. I'm so sad season 2 is over, and I absolutely cannot WAIT for season 3. :D

    xx Jessica

  5. -Sunday nights are definitely my fave tv night. Mad Men + The Killing = Awesome! I'm waiting for Don to cheat on her too, I really don't care for them together.
-I've been thinking about how to survive zombies since watching Dawn of the Dead, haha. But Walking Dead is definitely a favorite.
-I seriously dislike Blogger's new look. You're not the only it's throwing off.

  6. Thanks for the shout-out, Kristin! :)

I love that your student raised her hand to tell you that. It was clearly very important that you knew! Too adorable. :)

(And I'm so impressed that you were brave enough to highlight your own hair! Major props.)

  7. What a sweet kiddo! I love it when kids say stuff like that. And using the word chic? Impressive! Happy end of the week!

  8. What a sweet student! Maybe they'll comment again next week! :)

i just wanted to inform ya that i nominated you for a blog sunshine award:) :

  9. I really need to watch Mad Men. I now have Netflix instant on my iPad...I see good gym workouts in my future. Thanks for the shout out about the Bunny Munch! I was also surprised how much I like candy-coated bugles. I don't really like them plain, but covered in candy? Yum!

  10. that is really funny what your student said. : ) and I'm impressed you highlighted your own hair - show us some pictures!! glad your state testing is over too!!

  11. I'm wondering about Don too. He's always been a habitual cheater, we haven't seen him cheat in a while. It will be interesting to see if he does or doesn't.

Comments make my day!
