Linking up with Amber and Neely!
It's OK...
...that I find it interesting that I'm being "followed" on Pinterest by people I haven't spoken to since high school. Also, it's interesting that these people are just now discovering the wonder of this website. Thanks to the wonderful world of blogging, I've been pinning since last summer! (I wonder if any of these people read my blog???)
...that I can't even joke about the fact that I ate bread and jam (and tea) for dinner one night this week. How sad is that? Maybe I do belong in Little House on the Prairie. The books, not the t.v. show, of course.
...that I got all deep this week and finally posted about body image/weight/exercise.
...that I eat pancakes for dinner just too too (too) often. Like twice this week.
...that, at 8am yesterday, I found myself on ae.com and, quite coincidentally, $80 lighter. Probably not a coincidence, huh?
...that this is another moose. I thinks it's time to move to another state.
...that I laughed at this pin for a full 5 minutes.
I'm sorry. Diabetes is not funny. Our society is certainly ironic though. |
I too belong in Little House on the Prarie! Those were my favorite books when I was little! My grandmother used to let me build a covered wagon out of her dining room furniture.
ReplyDeleteI love that pin. It made me laugh too. And then I felt guilty about it.
ReplyDeleteI was late to the Pinterest party too. I kept wondering what the big deal was. I mean, what you "pin" stuff? What's that?
3 months into it I'm completely addicted. The fact that I have it on my phone is either the best thing ever, or my downfall.
Have a great Thursday!
Well, you are kind of in "The Long Winter" so eating bread, jam, and tea for dinner fits. You really do need to move. :)
ReplyDeletePinterest is starting to creep me out...my friend found MY HOUSE from a baby shower another friend threw me last spring. My friend that threw it submitted it to a hostess website because she is trying to grow her event planning blog and someone pinned it from there. I mean, weird right??
ReplyDeleteCompletely same boat with Pinterest. I have been pinning since last summer, and I think it's kind of funny that people act like they just discovered the best thing ever... when, in fact, it's been around for quite some time now. I linked up my blog to my pinterest, so I wonder the same thing. Though I doubt there is too much stalking going on, on Pinterest.
ReplyDeleteThat pin made me chuckle, out loud, by the way.
I love the moose! Isn't it funny how the army decides what you need :) We are preparing for our PCS to GA, how was hunting for a teaching job for you? Mine has been a rough experience thus far!
ReplyDeletethat math problem is really funny. and I think it is funny that people are just discovering pinterest too. and somehow even though I read your blog I wasn't an official follower! don't know how that happened - but I am now!
