Happenings in Room 206 (Zip Code 99645)

A student, who is a Saints fan nonetheless, brought me this candy dispenser last week.  I don't know where he acquired it from, but he said it was a present.  I filled it with candy and the kids get to stare at it all day.  Along with the Terrible Towel, the indoctrination continues...

The tiny pre-lit Christmas tree that I bought last year.  Since we have a regular-sized tree this year, the little one found a place on my classroom windowsill.

 Some creative Christmas-lighting.  When all the lights are off, the room looks really pretty. 

We also had a salmon dissection last week.  As in, we let 150 nine-year-olds gut fish in the classrooms.  Those pictures don't go so well with all of the food I've been doing on this blog.  So if you'd like to see them, let me know and I'll email a few to you!
