Still Anti-PJ Day Over Here...

1. It's Friday. I don't have to go back to work until January 3rd. This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.

2. My new planner arrived. I'm going to write a full review for next week. I really love reading planner reviews because I'm fascinated by how people organize their lives.

3. Scott and I finished Stranger Things. I knew I just need accountability; I tried it over the summer and didn't love it. And, still, the first two episodes didn't suck me in. But once the action started happening, I was really into the last four episodes.
I'm not sure what we'll move onto next. Show suggestions?

4. Yesterday was pajama day and I don't participate in such nonsense, but I did get this shirt to wear for today.

I went to Wal-Mart, looking for semi-cute, semi-cheap ugly sweaters. They were all more than $15 so I got a couple of Christmas t-shirts instead. They're comfy and soft.

5. I can't decide if I want to make these Peppermint Shortbread Cookies...

...or these Peppermint Meltaways. Thoughts?

Happy 2+ weeks off to me :)

  3. Eagerly awaiting your planner post because those are also the kinds of things that interest me. I love that t-shirt, it kind of blows my mind that the ugly Christmas sweaters have become so expensive. What happened to trekking off to the local thrift store and digging through the piles until you found a winner!?

Enjoy your winter break, I know it's well deserved!

I love reading planner reviews too for the same curiosity of knowing how people organize their lives. Its fascinating!

  5. I'm a big fan of meltaways, so I vote for that. I love the shirt you have for today! Enjoy your break. With your time off, I definitely suggest starting Mad Men if you haven't watched it yet. I'm probably the last one to that party, but we are just finishing it up and love it.

  7. I think the meltaways are prettier :)

Have you watched The Man in the High Castle? Season 2 is on Amazon Prime today. I know how I'm spending my Friday night.

  8. 1) That planner is very pretty.
    2) I kind of hate you because you have a nice, long Christmas break. Ours doesn't start until the 23rd, and we go back on January 2nd. It would be less awful if the school year was ending early or something, but it's not. Christmas being on a Sunday has ruined everything.

  10. I cant make myself pay for an ugly sweater to wear one time... but I like the idea of a christmas t with a cardigan. Good thinking.
I need to do a planner post myself. I'm always loving to see how people use them. I add in print outs in my Erin Condren & want to share.

That's great you have two weeks off. I don't go back to work until January 2, so I'm pretty stoked for the time off too!
