And I'm pretty sure the dogs agreed after 6 vaccines and a heartworm test.
Also, I would like to get Scout's teeth professionally cleaned. They quoted me around $400.
And since I swore I was going to blog each day in May, here's Saturday's picture post and a recipe from Sunday. Hashtag goal-oriented.
Ooh a vet day doesn't sound fun at all- for you or for the dogs! I can't believe how expensive vet bills get!
ReplyDeleteUgh, hate the vet trips...and mores the vet bills! Teeth cleaning is expensive--Cooper has had it done twice and the second time around was less so because I had a Groupon (which sounds weird but it was a reputable place that had just opened up a new office and was trying to drum up business--I even have taken Cooper back there since his teeth cleaning since I liked it so much). It's a process though when they come out of anesthesia.
ReplyDeleteVet day is never fun! I always dread taking Emma and Fishy.
ReplyDeleteI took my (one) dog on Saturday and that was $270 for bloodwork, flea meds, and looking at a slide of blood under a microscope, plus the exam fee just for having the vet walk in the room. I complain about this and human children are way more expensive!
ReplyDelete$400 for a tooth cleaning!? Jeez. Do they make dog insurance?
ReplyDeleteThat Greek orzo salad looks delicious, definitely on my to-make list.
UGHHHHHHH dread. I have to take Geege for his annual soon.
ReplyDeleteOh psh, give the dog a benedryl and clean them yourself! I joke, I joke but I hear dogs mouths are cleaner than ours so yeah...
ReplyDeleteVet day is the only day that I regret having 5 animals.
ReplyDeleteI hate vet trips. It is always so expensive. I was quoted around $500 per dog for teeth cleaning. I told them I needed a few months to work that into the budget.
