Stuff and Things…said by Scott

Did you really buy 4 tubs of hummus?

This is coming from the person who will eat a whole tub in one sitting…
------------------------------

Me: I have crosswalk duty at school this week.  Would you trust me to direct traffic?
Scott: Not even a little bit.
------------------------------

Pretending Jett is mocking me….
Don't do this, don't do that.  Your paws are dirty.  Stop that.  Get down.  No.  I said no!  Don't jump on me.  Don't scratch me.  Don't eat poop.  Don't lay on my pillow.  Come, Jett.  Did I say come? Do you hear me?!
And then Jett's response:  Of course I heard you!

He does this voice and everything and makes the dog dance around.  I need to get it on video.   I don't even take offense.  It's all completely true.

-------------------------------

It's not that heavy, Kristin.

As I help him hoist the double oven into place.  The manual said it was 375 pounds.
-------------------------------

Sending a picture message to his friend…

"At the Dierks Bentley concert"

Me:  This isn't Dierks Bentley.  Those tickets would be like $200.

Him:  You paid how much for these tickets?!

Me:  This is BRANT-LEY GIL-BERT.

--------------------------------

Also at that concert…

You are the least country-dressed person here.

I'm too preppy for my taste in music.  Or maybe my taste in music is too country for my style?
Either way, TOMS aren't incredibly common at these kind of events.

  1. Husbands are pretty good at saying random stuff. I'd have to argue, though, that 375 lbs. is, indeed, "that heavy."

  4. I saw Dierks once, and that was years ago. I'd totally see him again. Jason would assume the same thing :)

  6. Ha we do the dog mocking thing too! J and I also constantly talk "for" Bailey. I even said to him last night as we were settling into bed and having a "conversation" with the dog if she's ever thinking "Guys, I wouldn't say that. You have me all wrong." Oh, and her voice is Mr. Narwall from Elf. I don't know why. She's a girl. ha

  10. Add me to the list of people demanding video of Scott making Jett dance. ;)

And yeah. When we had to put our new oven in, I made Isaiah call his brother. No way was I attempting that one. And ours didn't even need to be lifted into the wall!

  12. My husband apparently thinks I'm a brut too! He always tells me things aren't heavy and I feel like I might be dying trying to lift them
