1. On weekend mornings, Scott often leaves to go hunting around 4am. For reasons I cannot explain, Scout will cry/bark/whine for the next 30 minutes. So much so that I have to GET OUT OF BED, pick him up, turn on the t.v., and wait for him to fall back asleep. I mean, he can whine all day if he wants; that's fine. But when I'm trying to go back to sleep and he's 6 feet away, I cannot go back to sleep. On Saturday morning, we watched a DVR'd
Homeland rerun and then on Sunday (at 4am) we watched Friday night's
ANTM. Scout must be a
Top Model fan. He fell asleep again pretty quickly. I will fess up to that being the only reality show I have ever followed. I've missed like the last 8 seasons though. I found the current one by chance on a random Friday night weeks ago.
Someone waiting at the door in an irrationally panicked state.
2. We started American Horror Story on Netflix. I like it. I think it's creepy and surprisingly suspenseful. Scott's in this phase of claiming he's not a fan. He'll say it's "dumb" and judge me for watching it. But then he asks if we're going to watch the next episode... Have you seen it?
3. Speaking of t.v., who's excited for Homeland? This might be the show that Scott likes the most...I take credit, of course, because I introduced him to it. I love it.
And let's not even talk about how Sunday night will be filled with both wonder and sadness, with
Breaking Bad ending. Speaking of depression...
4. Dexter. Oh, Dexter. My official thought is that the ending was just about as depressing as a show could possibly get. I mean, geez. If I wouldn't have had a place to go Monday morning, I probably would've laid in bed all day, feeling sorry for myself simply because that episode happened and I watched it. Meh.
5. So random...and this has nothing to do with anything, but I'll just say it: If you use Comic Sans as a font on anything ever (and you are not an 11 year old girl), you are wrong.
