Day 2 brought us to the Yukon Territory.
Yaaaaay.
I didn't take a whole lot of pictures. For simplicity's sake, let's just say it all looks like this.
We stayed at this place...
...and I found a purse in the gift shop.
My first thought was "Longchamp!"...and then I opened it up.
Some dumb animal symbol. The purse is ruined.
We spent the evening watching Duck Dynasty.
We spent most of Wednesday driving through blizzard conditions. Which just reiterated the whole, "If I never see snow again, it'll be too soon" thing.
We saw a lot of these guys today.
Token wildlife picture. |
We knew exactly where we didn't want to stay tonight (Wednesday), and this part of the trip is horribly boring*, so we pushed 11 hours to Ft. Nelson.
Teslin to Ft. Nelson |
Tonight we ate at Boston Pizza for the second time in 2 days and tomorrow we plan to get close to Calgary. Hopefully, we'll be in Montana by Friday!
Thank you all for your well wishes and good thoughts! Goodness knows we seem to need them!
Hahaha! that purse kills me and is soooo PNWy!
ReplyDeleteThe title of this post is in the voice (and inflection) of Michael Scott?
ReplyDeleteOh man, driving while it's actively snowing is the worst. I'm so so so glad I don't have to make that long of a road trip.
ReplyDeleteughh that purse could have been so cute too! Hopefully the rest of the trip goes smoothly and quick. Can't wait for you to be awayyyy from gross snow.
ReplyDeleteLOL @ Lauren's comment, I thought the same thing. And geez girl, I'm sick of the snow FOR you. Can't wait for you to get to a place with some visible grass.
ReplyDeleteMy home country! But the barren, not-so-cool side ;);)
ReplyDeleteGlad to see you're out of Alaska!! Good luck with the snow and getting back into the US!
ReplyDeleteHaha oh that purse is a mess! :) Safe travels and yay for hopefully getting to Montana tomorrow. :)
ReplyDeleteLOL "give me an outdoor mall..."
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, I do not envy you. I hope the rest of the trip passes quickly (or as quickly as possible) and goes as planned!
ReplyDeleteUgh. SNOW. I hope you get out of Canada soon!!
ReplyDeleteI hope you're through with snow soon. Safe travels, and eat some road food for me!
ReplyDeleteYou're only going to be a few hours from me!
