It's Thursday...so it's okay...

Before we get started on my musings and first world problems, I just have to say that sweet Natalie from fake rain, was my partner in a recent mug swap.  When I opened the box on Tuesday, there was not one mug, but two!  She thoughtfully included one for Scott!  Thank you, Natalie!

I should wear a sign that says, "I know more nice people in blog-land than I do in real life."

Its Ok Thursdays

It's okay that my Recipe Index desperately needs to be updated.  That's what summer is for.

It's totally okay that the FRG-army-spouse-club-wife-thing group planned their mid-tour celebration picnic for 3pm on a weekday.  AWESOME, FRG.  Awesome. You've cemented your status as being completely anti-working-army-wife.  (Like I was going to go anyway.)

It's okay that I completely dropped the ball on Cinco de Mayo.  Without Scott here, I don't even celebrate real holidays, let alone the drinking ones.  I made up for it on Sunday though.

Speaking of Sunday, I made a quadruple batch of quinoa for stir-fry dinners for the week and a tomato pizza.  Then I let the real food sit there while I ate chocolate ice cream.  That's okay.

Don't let the size of that ice cream dish fool you.  I re-filled it 3 times.  A little portion control secret.                           Small bowls = more refills

It's okay to have actually lost track of how many people you have "hidden" on Facebook.

It's okay that I don't watch Parks and Recreation, but I saw this video montage and this guy totally reminds me of Dwight Schrute.  What's not to like???

  4. I need one of those "more nice people" signs too. 'Cuz it's kinda true. :) And yes, smaller portion size totally equals more servings!
