Amazon in July

I start off slow I think and then start thinking of random things I need...

Amazon Basics Dog Crate. I had never bought a dog crate before because our other two weren't crate-trained. I looked for the one, overall, with the best reviews and it was this Amazon one. It serves the purpose and was cost-efficient. Maybe at some point we'll upgrade but this is fantastic for now. To go in the crate, this cushion. I thought he was going to rip it apart when we first brought Mav home. He would attack it. But he hasn't been able to! So it's a solid buy for a puppy at least. I wash it once a week and it's held up well in the washer and dryer.

I also found this no-spill dog bowl. I really like it to put in his crate. It's wider than I wanted but it still works. The no-spill feature is very practical. I had to find something he can access in the crate that wouldn't make a giant mess when I'm not home.

While I didn't actually buy anything new for my classroom this summer, as I was setting up last week, I noticed a few holes and got some "necessities".

I got these bells as attention-getters. I didn't have anything like it so I figured for $6, it was worth a try. The price has gone up to $8 since.

Binder rings. I always feel like I need these for something and never have any. In this case, I spent an entire weekend making a perpetual calendar for some reason and I need this to hang them.

Birthday cupcakes to put on the calendar and birthday badges were both a re-purchase. I had both last year and liked them a lot.

Stickers for open house, on these cards for each student

I ordered these animal cut-outs and name tags for Sutton's daycare teacher because they were on her wish list.

And then these dry erase dots which will be a whole separate venting post, but I ordered them, nonetheless.

Scott ordered this scale which is really neat and useful and our old scale had broken, and this mineral sea salt, which is supposed to be very good for you. I've been adding it to wherever I would normally add salt.

I also pre-ordered the new Shari Lapena book, which is enjoyable so far. (i.e. I started reading it at 2am after Sutton woke me up and I couldn't go back to sleep and I read until 3am, so it was good enough to hook me.)
