funny stuff.

Because it is Tuesday and it is a 5-day week.

I say "Look." at least twice a day, when I see a dog doing something cute.

My fingernails are always bare, but I never go out in public wearing sandals unless my feet have been pedicured. This is a very odd pet peeve of mine.

Again, how much time are they really saving? I usually just assume they don't know how to spell.

I CAN read a map. But today's children will never be able to.

It's true. I don't have interesting hobbies. I don't want to define myself by my career at all, but there's a part of me that believes I have no choice.

I don't even bother with headphones anymore.

I LOLed.

Try it.

I say this a lot and even said it to Scott the other day...he thinks it's funny.

  1. I love the 'tho (ugh)' one. I can understand acronyms here and there but spelling words incorrectly on purpose drives me nuts.

  2. I made a choice when I got AIM that I would never use abbreviations of words. I never typed "u" for you or anything like that. It actually saved my ass when someone got ahold of my AIM account and tried to break up with my boyfriend as an awful prank. The message was riddled with abbreviations--and the one that tipped him off was it said something like "Ur such a jerk." And he was like "well, first of all Joey knows the difference between YOUR and YOU'RE, and she doesn't use abbreviations."

  3. Bahaha, love these. The "tho...ugh" one reminds me of that episode of The Office where Kevin decides he's going to start speaking in one-word sentences. "Ocean. Fish. Jump. China."

  5. I love the 'tho(ugh)' one...I also thought of Kevin from The Office right away..."Why waste time say lot word when few word do trick?" Haha :)

Also the sleeping pets one. I was just looking through the pictures on my phone and realized that most of them are of my cat sleeping or doing something adorable.

  8. I find that the only reason for using alternate spelling like "tho" or "u" now is in tweeting. No one else restricts how many words we use! It drives me nuts when students spell words this way. In their cases, it usually IS because they can't spell it right....
