It's a shame this outfit was wasted on the DMV and a morning sorting worksheets in my classroom.
However...
This top is a super soft pullover and was at TJ Maxx for $13. It reminds me of something Stitchfix would send with a $60 price tag (why yes, I did get a disappointing box from Stitchfix in recent days...referral link here...oooo, ahhh). It's absolutely ideal in every way.
The shorts are 3 years old, from Old Navy, and I don't think I paid more than $10 for them.
The shoes are knock-off TOMS from Target. I own 4 pairs. They last, season after season.
My perfect outfit is shorts and long-sleeves. On this day, it was also only 65 degrees out (it was like the heavens opened up and smiled down on me, for real), so I took the opportunity to blow-dry my hair for the first time in quite awhile. This is legitimately the most put-together I've looked in months.
Also, I mixed black shoes with a navy top on purpose. I love doing that.

ReplyDeleteoooh that pullover is cute! i much prefer tj maxx to stitch fix haha. i am generally not someone who reaches for long sleeves with shorts, just because i have to be super hot if i wear shorts and then long sleeves would be too hot. anywho, love old navy shorts, they are the best!

ReplyDeleteOkay so I am fully team Target Toms, but I have had one pair rip and the button on another come off (so I bought a 3rd pair, I mean they're under $20...) BUT the other day I went from my real Toms to my Target Toms and sadly, you can totally tell a difference. I never should have done that. Even though good prints and cheap prices will just mean I have a collection of both.

I LOVE that outfit! Super cute, but also functional! It also looks comfortable. I'm all for comfort these days. If I wouldn't melt, I'd wear long sleeves with shorts, too. It's just too darn hot here lately!

That hoodie you have own. Yep, that would work for me. And, I like the navy (I think) and pink (I think) combo.
Soft pullovers are my fave. I mean minus I live in Florida, so I only get to wear them NEVER (kidding...kind of).
