T.V. Catch-up

Since Scott left, I've watched all of Friday Night Lights again and all of Weeds again.  I believe those are two of the best shows ever created.  And reruns are comforting to me, if we're being honest.
Therefore, I've been neglecting my DVR.  Let's review...

Downton Abbey.  I just watched the finale two weeks late and I wasn't entirely impressed.  Nothing shocking or out of the ordinary occurred.  Meh.

TWD. I'm three weeks behind.  The second episode of the season put me to sleep.  While I truly love the show, Scott is the one who prompts me to make sure it's on come 8pm on Sunday nights.  Without him here to do that, I struggle to pay attention when things are slow.

Frozen.  Oh sorry.  I meant Once Upon a Time.  I haven't watched since November.  I like Frozen just as much as the next person, but this show has been taken over by it and I don't know where it's going.  The brilliant writing has stalled because they're desperately trying to pull in new fans or something.  I don't know.  Has it gotten better since fall?

Revenge.  I haven't watched since December.  It's recorded...I'm just not invested.

Better Call Saul!  This show might end up being as brilliant as Breaking Bad.  Really enjoying it. It's a spinoff that gives a backstory and, man, I would love for Jesse Pinkman to make an appearance.

The Following.  Season 3 started on Fox, and the first two episodes were good enough.  I hope Natalie Zea makes an appearance soon (Claire is insufferable, but I like her. Oxymoron).  I sincerely hope, also, that it takes off in a whirlwind of suspense.  I watched the entire first season in one day last year.

Justified.  I am two (count them: two) seasons behind and I feel awful about that.

Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.  I found this on Netflix and it's kind of LOL funny.  I actually spit out my tortilla chip during the first episode when Jane Krakowski threw the full bottle of water in the garbage when Kimmy said she didn't want water.  And I like Ellie Kemper.  This show is kind of like Erin from The Office on steroids. And when you see who plays Rev. Wayne, your jaw will drop. Also, love that homage to Antoine Dodson and the O.J. trial. Brilliant.

Recommend a t.v. show!
