Stuff and Things 1/22

+It is 3:06pm on Wednesday and I'm starting this post.

+I took today off of work a week ago, with the hopes of doing some tour-guiding and sight-seeing.

+Then, we got a snowstorm.

+So, it was a good day to stay home.  Scott said there were random pile-ups everywhere.  School was not canceled, delayed, or released early.  Fools.

+I spent the day cleaning and creating a Recipage (with the initial guidance, as always, from Angi).

+It's still a work in progress.  If you have advice, please feel free to let me know! My goal is to do this with all my 52 recipes in the recipe challenge I'm working on this year.

+I admired the coasters my sister-in-law crafted for us.

+I like this.  Have you seen this free Devotion app?  Just search devotion and it's one of the first that pop up.  Thanks Joey!

+It's 5:51pm and I'm out of stuff to say and I've procrastinated this task with a million other things so…

  1. So is the Recipage so people can print your recipes? If so, PLEASE HELP. I've tried to do that before and I have always screwed it up. I can find stuff on how to do it for wordpress but nothing that helps me for blogger.

  2. I would have stayed home too, no fun dealing with that snowy mess.

  3. I'm pretty excited about a recipage. I don't have any advice on it though because I've never done one.

  4. I'm so glad you're liking that app! I love that I start and end my day with it. Instead of the first thing I do in the morning being Instagram/twitter/email, it's DEVOTION then the rest of life. Just helps me put God at the start of my day. I'm glad you ended up getting to stay home--snow storms are no joke even when you're "used to them." I also struggled with things to say for today's post--and can we please discuss the fact that I left the freaking T off of "there" at the beginning of the link up text? And now that's going to drive me nuts until next week. Sigh.

  6. Wow, they take snow very differently than out East haha! Can't wait to see what you think of the Recipage... I'd love to look into that, too.

  7. How is Recipage going? Have you figured out how to embed a recipe into a blog post yet? Let me know if you need more help!

Did they ever cancel/delay school up in Palmer? I don't think I've ever seen it canceled or anything here. We definitely don't get as much snow but sometimes we get a good dumping of it and the school buses are still out and about...
