Stuff and Things: Confessions

Confession:  I don't like Orange is the New Black.  Not at all.  I watched a few episodes of the first season last summer.  Not a fan.  And I think I'm the only person in the world who doesn't like it.

Confession:  However..we've been on a Prison Break kick.  I didn't like the first half dozen episodes or so.  But now I'm hooked.  Hello, season 3.  Kinda reminds me of Dexter.

Confession:  When I see someone with a Longchamp, I think "Wow, she has great taste".  But, since I live in a state where there's lots of walking and stuff now, I switched to a cross-body bag.

Confession:  If you look at that photo above, you'll see that I was entirely underdressed for the Indian restaurant we went to in Pueblo last week.  In my defense, we'd been hiking.

Confession:  This was my first experience at an Indian restaurant (though we make homemade curry an awful lot).  It was amazing.  If you come to visit, expect us to take you there.

Confession:  I wasn't even over-the-top excited to watch the Game of Thrones finale.  Then I found out Scott watched it without me (while I was at Target, but that's beside the point) and I was quite miffed.

Confession:  I didn't love the finale.  I didn't even watch all of it.  I asked Scott what happened at the end and that was good enough for me.

Confession:  I spent over 2 hours on Tuesday night trying to order transcripts from various universities in Alaska.  I took 16 credits there but can never remember where or when.  This is the 3rd time I've gone through this ordering process to receive salary bumps for credits.  You'd think I'd be a little better at it by now.

Confession:  When I was trying to submit all the forms for transcripts, Scott had to explain how to use the scanner.  Again.

  2. I haven't seen any of Orange is the New Black--I just saw a commercial and knew it wouldn't be my kind of show at all. And Indian restaurants are amazing--I could eat Indian food every day forever. My Indian neighbor in Malaysia had a little lunch restaurant out of her home and my parents used to send us over there with a couple ringgit for our lunches all the time, it was delicious!

  4. I haven't seen Orange is the New Black. No idea when I'll even get around to it.

I can't do Prison Break because being wrongfully imprisoned is one of my biggest insane fears.

  5. I loved Orange is the new Black however I could not get into Prison Break, Dexter, GoT, etc. Don't know why, just couldn't. Breaking Bad either.

I'll confess I'm jealous you're now living in Colorado. That's my favorite state :)

  6. I love that there's stuff for you to do in your new state!! Yay! OITNB is definitely NOT for everybody. I'm surprised that I liked it (I hatttttttted the book). I think I partially like it so much because it's something J and I watch together. If I were doing it solo, I'm not sure I'd care that much.

  9. I hate Orange is the New Black. You are not alone, my friend. Prison Break is a good one, though.

I tasted a curry mustard at Pike Place yesterday...you would like it. I should have bought some in retrospect.

  10. I only watched the second season of Orange is the New Black to see if it cleared up any questions from the 1st haha.

  11. I love OITNB and Prison Break, well, I've watched the whole series twice (when it was in its first run on TV and then Netflix) but I just cannot get into Game of Thrones. I've never tried because it doesn't seem like something I'd enjoy.

  12. I didn't even know what this whole Orange is the New Black thing was. I've just heard everyone talking about it. I searched it, read the premise, and I think it sounds ridiculously stupid. The fact that it's loosely based on a real woman's experience does not change my mind either. I will never watch this show. EVER!

On a positive note, I love Indian food!

  13. I'll admit Orange Is The New Black is definitely a little hard to take at times. I like it, but I think it's veered far out of the realm of possible now. I did just make it through all of Breaking Bad (2 years after I started)!

Love that bag! I have no idea how to use scanners, though I am slowly mastering the photocopier at work!
