"What the..?" Wednesday

Before I get into the ridiculousness that is my first-world problems, Scott is having elective surgery today and I think I'm more anxious than he is.  If you could send me some good thoughts, I'd appreciate it very much.
How very convenient of him to schedule it over spring break so I don't get to have to take off work, right?

----------------------------------------------------------------
After 2 Keurig de-scaling cycles, I tried cleaning the needle.  I broke this thing within 30 seconds of watching the how-to video.  Wtf.

If, a year ago, you had told me that I'd regularly wear neon pants to work, I would've said, "What is wrong with you?"

Times have changed.

Sweater/Scarf:  Target // Boots: Steve Madden // Pants: Gap

The kitchen sink has been leaking for a week and a half now.  I emailed the landlord.  She said someone would be calling me. That was Sunday, March 3rd.

A follow up email, sent by me, to check on the state of an impending repairman call, resulted in her telling me to call him myself.

I told her I wasn't doing it.

My plan was to let it keep on leaking, but someone showed to yesterday to replace it, thereby ruining my idea. Oh well.

Anything making you say "What the..?" lately?

  1. I'm praying for a successful surgery for Scott. Did you buy a new keurig? This would be the same landlord that put the wrong address in the ad to sell it, right?

  3. Sending good thoughts to Scott today! And now I am terrified to ever touch my Keurig - does it seem to just be bad quality?? And lastly, OF COURSE, loving your pants!

  6. Hope the surgery goes well! :) That whole sink issue seems pretty "What the.." worthy.
I'm really upset about the fact that the state made us take a high school exit exam and everyone in my grade could have passed that test in 7th grade. They wouldn't even let us do homework or read after. 2 hours to do absolutely NOTHING.
Good thing I brought my Pillow pet. I got some much-needed sleep!

  7. I know how you feel about bright pants. The colors are so 80's, who would have thought they'd be cool again? I'm glad the pants are made cuter than they were in the 80's though. :-)
