2. Last weekend, I got all caught up on Justified. I could/would watch Timothy Olyphant all day long.
Scott loves the story line and Winona (that horribly foolish and terribly attractive woman). I love Raylan.
3. I actually got in some good workouts this week: "Body Blast", Pilates, Turbokick. I'm trying to up my strength training, so I've even been trying the Pinterest workouts at home. Cardio is where I'm not exactly shining right now. What kind of workouts are on your schedule right now?
(For the record, one did pop up in November. It disintegrated on its own and hasn't come back. I practically bathe my ears in peroxide these days as a precaution.)
5. Also, a question. Am I the only person who gets up 3 hours before she has to leave for work? I leave at 8. I get up between 5-5:30. I need those 3 hours to putter around. Scott thinks I'm insane. Tell me I'm not alone (please).
Happy weekend!
You are def. not alone when it comes to getting up 3 hours before work. I get up most days around 6:30 because I have to get Jack up at 7 and if I'm not up before him then I'll take all my crankiness out on him! But I don't go to work until 10 so I'm up pretty early for work!
ReplyDeleteI've actually have been doing the INSANITY! Let me just tell you I think I'm dying! It's hard!
Hope you have a great weekend!
Yeah...I get up about 45 minutes before I have to be out the door. And then I talk myself in to doing my hair. Total slacker. Happy Friday!
ReplyDeleteWe caught an episode of Justified and I really like it!!! May have to make this a regular thing. :)
ReplyDeleteMy husband is OBSESSED with Justified! He calls it his man drama. Good thing its a good show and I like watching it :)
ReplyDeleteA honey bucket?? What in the world! Yes, whenever I get up or anytime I have to be anywhere I give myself at least 2 hours. I like to do what I want and not rush. Like last night.
ReplyDelete1. OMG.
ReplyDelete5. Not alone! I purposely get up at 6 hoping Jordan will sleept until at least 6:30, so I can get an hour of work done before we get to school.
I watched the first season of Justified, then I stopped. Whyyyyy.
ReplyDeleteReason #123890123 why I'm glad I don't live up on the frozen tundra. But I guess they must like it there.
ReplyDeleteI've been doing a Core Fusion DVD every single day and LOVING it. It's different every day which is perfect for me because I get bored REALLY easily.
I am the same way when it comes to getting up super early before work!! You are not crazy!! I hate waking up and feeling rushed in the morning!!
ReplyDeleteI probably SHOULD get up 3 hours before I go to work. I would LIKE to leave by 7:15. I haven't been leaving until 7:30. (I have to be at work at 8:10, but I really prefer more time to prepare for kids...). Anyway, today I even got out of bed right after my alarm instead of lying in bed watching the news for 15-20 minutes, and I still left at 7:30. I don't know how it happens.
ReplyDeleteRaylan = yum
ReplyDeleteI really need to kick up my strength training again. I've been doing a lot of Zumba, and next week I am going to try out the bootcamp/kickbox class at my gym.
If I woke up 3 hours before I had to leave, I'd be up at 3:30. I wish I could have more time in the morning to myself, but it's not happening.
I liked getting up early before work so I could take my time, have a shower, check the internet, eat a good breakfast... my sister would drag herself out of bed 10 minutes before, tie up her hair and head out. Yuck.
ReplyDeleteI try to get out of bed early just to have some me time to wake up and prep for the day..... It never works out that way. I'm angry and running around like a mad woman trying to get us all dressed and ready and fed in a 30-45 min span because I just couldn't get up. I blame kids though as to why I couldn't get up-I NEED THOSE EXTRA 10 MINUTES! Even though really I should've gotten up to enjoy coffee silently!
ReplyDeleteI get up early for work at both of my jobs because I putz around on the internet, drink my coffee, and try to wake up before I take my shower to actually get ready for work. So, you're not alone!
ReplyDeleteI swear, every single time I'm on this blog, I have a new TV show to add to my list.
ReplyDeleteI'm really excited to basketball to be over (1 month!) and I'll have like 3 extra hours a day to do stuff. Like doing all of those Pinterest/TV Show workouts.
3 hours is a LONG time. I'm up 15 minutes, maybe half an hour before I leave the house.
I have to be AT work at 7:45 a.m. sharp. I would have to wake up at 4:00-4:30 in the morning to get up 3 hours early. 4:00-4:30 in the morning is a time of day not meant to be witnessed by any human in existence. However, I do get up early and putter around on 2-hour delay days since I have the luxury of extra time.
ReplyDeleteI want to begin a new workout routine, but Baby Clark has that plan on hold. No intense workouts allowed with Baby on Board. So, I have been sticking with walking for now. When Baby Clark is born, I believe I am going to look into getting swimming lessons, so that I can swim vigorously enough to actually call it exercise. My exercise has to be fun. I cannot do repetitive exercise videos. They are NOT for me. Although, I loved Zumba the few weeks I did it before our instructor retired. Then, I was out of luck. So, I have till July to work out a new exercise plan.
If I could actually wake up at that Godforsaken hour I'd do the same thing, solely to putter. But I suck at mornings and can't do it. So I get up 40 minutes before I have to be out the door.
