I'm back and I'm going to make marshmallows

I don't really want to talk about the "I'm back" part.

Let's just say that we're actually lucky to be home.  United Airlines cannot be trusted when it comes to departure times.  I had quite a nice nap on the plane, as few are traveling to Anchorage.  Got a whole row to myself.

I'm trying to keep this in mind.

I owe you a tale of a treacherous cruise-ship adventure..but I'm still writing it.  And I'm going through our photos now to see what's worth sharing.

So all you really need to know is that I'm on the mend (I had a cold with suspiciously-flu-like symptoms) and I'm ready to get back in the kitchen.  I've still got two weeks off of school to bake, clean, work out, and whatnot.  I call that a win in my book.
Here's some things I'd like to try.

Crockpot Beef Stew (Christmas dinner along with a day of laundry and Christmas movies? Sounds okay to me.)

Apple Pie Ice Cream (without eggs!)

More crab cakes! (I dream about these things.)

Crockpot Cashew Chicken

Gingerbread Scones (I'm a sucker for baked goods with molasses.)

Funfetti Marshmallows

Peppermint Marshmallows

Vanilla Marshmallows

The answer to your question is "Yes.  I'll be the person at the grocery store on Christmas Eve."

Also?  I should probably buy my husband a Christmas present.
