It's OK and Thankful Thursday 9/6

Its Ok Thursdays

It's okay that I don't wish to speak of politics.  I support the military.  That's all I have to say about politics.

Vampire.  I'd trust vampire.

It's okay that I don't like pumpkin spice lattes.  Or pumpkin pie.  I'll eat pumpkin in cookie form.  And that's about it.

It's also okay that I don't have a whole lot of creativity poppin' through today.  So I leave you with...

...ice cream I made yesterday.  Recipe coming next week.  Best flavor I've made so far.

Also, Thankful Thursday.  Go say "hi" to Ryan at her (brand-new!) blog, Loved and Lovely.
Loved and Lovely

I'm thankful that the windstorms hitting southcentral Alaska these past few days have kindly overlooked my development.  I mean it.  Thanks, mother nature.  Much appreciated.
I am thankful that my husband booked us a 7 day Carnival cruise..I'm thankful he took care of it ALL.  Including flights.  And I'm thankful I have a superb substitute lined up to take charge of my kiddos for 2 weeks.
Oh, and I found out when we'll be moving/PCS-ing!
Thankful Thursday, indeed.

  1. Yeah, I'd have to say I'd trust a Vampire before a Politician. As far as the Pumpkin Spice Lattes go, I've never had one but I keep hearing about how amazing they are so I'll probably give them a try. Hopefully I'll like them though because I hate wasting money.

  2. Can you add an extra person to that cruise?? No but seriously I'm glad one of us gets to go somewhere warm soon.

I like...love...talking politics. But only with sane, normal people who don't get all crazy and start name calling and making up crap that's not true. And those people are few and far between. So...I try to avoid the topic.

  3. I am the same way when it comes to politics. I do not like talking about it and I don't like reading about it all over my FB.

  4. About Politics... Obama is the president. That's all I know. LOL Although, I like listening to their speeches but sometimes I have NO idea what they're talking about. Haha!

  6. There are so many things for me to respond to, but I'm going to stick with this:

YAY FOR A CRUISE! I LOVE that your hubby took charge and planned that for y'all. So, so perfect!

  8. I'm not even into all the vampire stuff, and I'd still trust the vampire. I'm very sick of politics, too. I'm also tired of choosing between two evils. When do we get to have candidates where one is CLEARLY better than the other?

that's awesome your hubby planned the entire cruise! i prefer to stay out of all travel arrangements and let my husband do it all...he's way better at it and has literally been everyone, and i've been nowhere haha

  13. I completely concur with your first statement.
    That ice cream looks dangerous.
You are not allowed to leave Alaska until you come visit Hawaii.
Thus concludes my three-cents. Not two. Three.
