And then she and I can go shopping together. Because she wears clothes like this a lot. Only, mine came from Eddie Bauer and JCPenney. I'm guessing she doesn't shop at those places.

I've spent most of the last week telling myself not to put on a turtleneck in the mornings. Honestly, it's good my parents were visiting because that meant I couldn't go into the guestroom at 6:30am and start digging through the boxes of winter clothes I have stashed under the bed in there.
I swear to the Good Lord in Heaven Above: The turtlenecks will not make an appearance until the month of September is over.
Such lofty goals I set for myself.
Speaking of lofty goals, did you see my to-do list for the rest of 2012? It's downright inspirational.

yes - i think you should hold off! I try to remind myself that even though I'm excited for fall clothes I'll be tired of them in a few months and still have months left of winter! So I can't imagine how you feel!
ReplyDeleteI always give myself a goal to NOT wear a winter coat until AFTER Halloween. Ridiculous? Sure. But I dunno... It just makes me feel like fall is going to stick around just a bit longer ;-) I also completed my "no boots until a high of 60*" goal just today! Sooooo lofty we are LOL ;-)
ReplyDeleteHappy Monday!
I love this outfit- looks so comfy! We're still pretty warm here in NJ, but I really want to get some new fall goodies!
ReplyDeletei also always want to start wearing my winter clothes by the end of the summer, but since it's usually 80 degrees here on thanksgiving, my winter clothes only make it out for a few days during teh year...
ReplyDeleteI love this outfit! I can' imagine wanting (needing) to wear a turtleneck in September.
ReplyDeleteCute outfit - you look cold. I can relate. :)
ReplyDeleteI like the boots! Cute blog:) New follower!
ReplyDeleteI want your boots!! How cold are the mornings?
ReplyDeleteCute outfit! I have been debating whether or not it is too soon for my Uggs, I have decided that it is sadly.
ReplyDeleteI am ready for boots and sweaters. Although, I'm in Oregon, so it shouldn't be too much longer. And I also want to go shopping with Kate. or at least in her closet.
ReplyDeleteI love your style. You and I need to shop together. I suck at it. :)
ReplyDeleteI am such a fall/winter person. I think we got assignments meant for each other... I would love to wear turtlenecks in September! From what I understand, I will not be wearing winter clothes for the next three years. My scarf collection will be languishing in the mean time. :(
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute outfit! Love those boots!
ReplyDeleteI actually felt sad for Kate Middleton when I read that article. Poor girl. Seriously, people suck.
ReplyDeleteIt's going to be a miserable winter. I can feel it.
Look at you, you could have been a Kate look-a-like. Love the pants :)
ReplyDeleteI found your blog over at Life of Meg. You are just too cute for words. I have the same problem with boots, at the first sign of cool weather I trying to justify wearing them. I am now a subscriber, come over and check me out at theserenasaga.blogspot.com
