It's OK 8/9 and Thankful Thursday

Its Ok Thursdays

It's okay that I keep signing up for blog swaps.  I like picking out the goodies and I certainly like getting the goodies.  It's the middle man (Mr. Post Office) that needs to be cut out.
My latest swap partner, Caitlin, sent me some super cute stuff through Linny's Vault's Summertime Swap.

That frame went straight onto my desk at school.  Thanks Caitlin!

It's okay that you are probably sick of listening to me whine about running.
It's been the only cardio I could fit in this week.
(The world is becoming a scary place.)
Here's my new trick.
Turbo Kick music is naturally divided into intervals.

So I run the 2 min. segments and walk the 1 min. ones.  I've been doing about 40 minutes a day. (fine.. 30 minutes..)
And hating every. single. second.
It's not that I hurt or I can't breathe or anything is really wrong.
Just hate it.

It's okay that I have about 6 recipe posts that either need to be finished or need to be created, photographed, etc.
You're not here for food, right?  You're here for my sparkling personality (obviously)

It's okay that beginning tomorrow I will no longer be available 24/7 via social media.  I have this thing (called "job") that I must return to from 8 to 4 everyday.  And while I'm supremely jealous of those of you who can blog, tweet, or even email from your place of employment, I cannot.  It's ALL blocked.
Not that I would have the time.  I barely have time to eat an apple during "lunch break".

It's okay, and makes me feel SO much better, to know that I'm not the only one who does this when I see someone I know in a public place.

Judging by your comments on Tuesday, it's good to know I'm not alone, y'all.
(I seriously tried to do it in the hallway at school the other day.  Too late.  Kid saw me.)

And Thankful Thursday @The Ramblings of Mrs. Hargraves...
I'm thankful that it's almost mid-August.
I'm thankful I have one more weekend to pick up my clothes/clean my house/clean my car get my act together before school starts.
I'm thankful for my husband's job.  Though it is, perhaps, the most inconvenient job on the planet.
While we're on the topic, I'm thankful that my husband pays the bills and keeps the budget straight.  If I had to do it, there'd be a "Target" column and a pile of bills that I'd forget to pay.

  6. look, I know you hate running, but I'm still all sorts of proud of you for doing it! Who knows, maybe you'll end up not hating it one day. I'm also thankful that I'm not the one who makes the budget or pays the bills, because I'd have the "target" category too.

  7. HAHAHAHA! The Target comment cracked me up!!!

That video is awesome. I've done that into a street sign, trees, and once I walked out into the middle of the street and was almost hit by a taxi.

Good job at workin' it even though you hate it. I'm sure your body loves you for it.

  8. Ooo I love the goodies you got. That frame is SO cute! I want to go to Target now. Omg I have a love/hate relationship with running. I think I'll love it more when I can just run. But, now I'm doing the interval thing too and it's torture!

  9. I'm glad you can use all of it! I don't know if you're as addicted to thank you cards as I am.........but Target always has the best selection. :)

Some days I can use my phone for social media during the day, but sometimes I'm so swamped that I don't have a chance to touch my phone at all. I understand the "job" woes. ;)
