It's OK 3/1

Its Ok Thursdays

It's OK...

....that it's MARCH!

...that I spent 2 weeks tearing the house and vehicles apart, including going through every purse I've used since Christmas, looking for a $9.00 Fred Meyer Rewards gift card.
I found it in the back of my Erin Condren planner.  You know, in the flap that says "Keep it together".

...that my Christmas tree is still up.  I don't have anything else to say about that right now.

...that I haven't been sleeping well because I'm annoyed with my pillows (they're too flat).  So I thought, "I'll go buy new pillows.  That's what I'll do."  After 5+ nights of this, I remembered that I have a guest bed with 4 pillows on it.  You better believe I now have new pillows.

....that this was in my devotional the other day.  Maybe I needed to hear it.
"Stop judging and evaluating yourself, for this is not your role...stop comparing yourself with other people.  This produces feelings of pride or inferiority." -Jesus Calling       You think?!  Sometimes I feel like I need to stamp something like this onto my forehead.
....that I went into Target last Sunday just to get out of the house and then spent $40.  At least I got out of the house.

....that the children and I got a free snowshoeing lesson on Monday.  Thank goodness it was only an hour though.  Ya'll know I don't go outside in the winter.

Seriously?  That does not look like 30 kids from this angle.  I must have lost a couple to the moose who have been circling the playground.  They do eat people, you know.  ...kidding...
Finally, it's NOT okay...

I miss him. This is getting really old.

Anything okay with you this week??  Are you as thrilled as I am that it's now March?  That's only 3 more months til spring for us up here in these northern parts, you know.

  3. I want an Erin Condren planner. I haven't been able to justify it yet, but I'm thinking I may hint for one at my birthday and then I'll have one for next year :)

  5. You do NOT have your Xmas tree up. I'll pretend that you didn't write that in this post. I love Target shopping sprees. But I don't love when I buy a bunch of stuff that I don't need. What did you think of snow shoeing? Is it bad that I've barely touched my Erin Condren planner since it arrived on Saturday? #Fail. But happy Thursday!

  6. I kind of love that you are cool enough to leave your Christmas tree up this long and not care :) And target is the worst haha. I always buy stuff I do not need!

  8. Don't you just hate it when you go to target to "look" and then end up in the checkout line with a buggy full of stuff? Its good and its bad.

Still got that Christmas tree up? I love that you own it and are fine with it.!

  9. I'd probably be too anal to get the guest pillows because they wouldn't be "right". ;) And I managed to spend $20 at Target when I was just waiting for a prescription. Retail therapy!
