Monday Musings...

1.  I don't like Scott not being here because I do not like being responsible.  Less responsibility is what I'm good at.  Don't ask me to remind you to pay any bills.  When it comes to financial responsibility of any kind, less is always more in my case.

2.  I posted this on Facebook but it deserves another go:  I used to think that people who were typing out crazy long paragraphs for statuses and comments without using punctuation were just lazy.  Now, by noticing the comments that some ...ahem...underachievers have left, my new theory is that these people don't know HOW to use punctuation.  How sad for them.  And everyone who has to decipher their nonsensical drivel.

^Okay, I am not being harsh.  They should have paid attention in 4th through 9th grades....that's all I'm trying to say.

3.  Do you have any idea how hard it is for me to keep a house clean?  I can't do it.  I start out pretty good on Sunday and then I give up completely by Wednesday.

4. Scott wants to go to Acadia National Park in Maine this fall.  I told him no.  My reasoning?? I see enough "moose, trees, and crap around here".  He thought that was more than fair.

Case in point.  Moose.  And trees.
5.  I saw these shoes on Pininterest, fell in love, and then found them at Tar-jay for $7.  Win-win...win (says Michael Scott).

6.  Speaking of Tar-jay...I was in there this weekend browsing through the clearance racks (one of my many guilty pleasures), and two girls walked past me.  They were about my age.  One said, "I need something nice but not totally upscale" and they began pawing through the racks.  Hmm...I wonder what "upscale" meant to her if she was afraid of running into it at Target?

  1. I agree with you about the national park. You need to go to the beach.

  2. Second the beach... Hawaii in the fall is big wave season. Stay on the north shore for the
Bonzai! Talk to Trevor, he was there two years ago.

And agree with you about the lazy spellers and punctuationists. <<my new made-up word for the day) It's those mobile uses run amok.

  3. We're taking a trip to New England. Driving up the coast from PA, stopping in Boston for a few days, and going to Maine. I cannot WAIT to see a real fall.
