Chocolate Covered Pretzels

These were really easy.  Originally, I was going to give away Cinnamon Sugared Almonds in Christmas gifts.  However, almonds are $6.00 for 12 oz. and I needed 3 1/2 pounds.  So that wasn't happening.  I've made these pretzels as gifts and for my school potluck this week.

Chocolate Covered Pretzels
1 big bag of pretzel twists (I don't remember how many ounces.  Maybe it was 18 oz.?  It doesn't really matter.)
1 24 oz. package of chocolate almond bark
1 24 oz. package of white chocolate almond bark
Sprinkles, optional

Melt the chocolate almond bark in a bowl in the microwave.  I did one section at a time, not the whole 24 oz. at once.  I put a large handful of pretzels at a time into the bowl and tossed them around.  Pull them out with a fork and set on wax paper.  I repeated the process until all the milk chocolate was gone.  They don't take long at all to dry.

Melt the white chocolate one section at a time (you'll probably only need half of the package).  Scoop it into a Ziploc sandwich bag and snip a small hole in the corner.  Pipe/drizzle over the pretzels.  (I did burn myself a few times squeezing the Ziploc bag, so yes, it will be hot.)  I tried drizzling with a fork and the chocolate isn't thin enough, so I needed to use the bag.

Decorate with sprinkles immediately, as you go, because they dry quickly.
